Placing Orders (Artists Only)
Note that the preview footage is offered as a FREE download to those with a login-password. (You must wait for the entire file to load before you can save it to your hard drive.) However, I always accept donations towards replacing old cameras if you're feeling generous! The format for previewing footage is in .mp4 (H.264) which is 320 x 240 pixels.
High resolution (DVD or a miniDV clone of the original) is 720 x 480 pixels. I need to charge something for processing high resolution footage.
Please note that I am working in the NTSC (American) format. Converting files to PAL format DVD can be done on request. However, please note the highest quality PAL transfers are done using a professional service. I can only do a conversion using software processes which are slightly lower quality than specialized equipment.

30 Minutes or Less:

30 to 60 Minutes:

60 to 120 Minutes:

Notes on DVDs and MPEG 2 Compression:
Video footage on a DVD is compressed to mpeg 2 format. If you want to edit the material on a DVD, you will need to rip the DVD and expand the mpeg 2 file(s) back over to the .dv codec (in most cases) to import into a video editor such as Final Cut Pro or iMovie.
This process involves some loss of information and may cause noticeable problems in more advanced editing or reformatting, etc. However, for most editing involving hard cuts, the image quality is quite excellent and transferring material this way is much less cumbersome.

Payments can be sent through Paypal (payment should be sent to the email address: zigzago@aol.com). It is not necessary to have an account with Paypal. You can use a credit card to process the payment through Paypal.
Option 2: Check or Money Order
Payments can be sent by personal check in US Dollars made out to Michael Menes (only on bank accounts in the U.S.) Otherwise, please send a postal money order made out in US dollars to Michael Menes if you are outside the U.S. and do not want to use Paypal.
